It’s not quite the Cubs winning the World Series, but for the first time in over a decade the Bishops’ Cup went to an Episcopal team over the Lutherans at the 13th Annual Bishops’ Cup Golf Outing held by Cross Roads Camp & Retreat Center on June 16.
The winning team, from Christ Church, Short Hills, was captained by Donald Syracuse, MD and included Dr. Zachary Yamba, Jerry Anton and Charles Helmstetter. Dr. Syracuse is pictured with Christ Church’s Rector, the Rev. Bowie Snodgrass, showing where the cup will be prominently displayed in the church.
Proceeds from the Golf Outing help support Cross Roads’ mission.
