In December 2021, the story of the organ at Christ Church, Hackensack was featured in the article An ambitious pandemic project: DIY organ rebuilding, which described how organist Mark Wright and a team of parishioners were repairing the church’s fire-damaged organ with guidance from a professional organ builder.
Now they are celebrating the completion of this project on Sunday, Oct. 20 with an Organ Celebration Concert featuring Julliard Scholar Eddie Zheng, and all are invited.
Guests will be welcomed starting at 4:30 PM, with the concert beginning at 5 PM. A reception will follow.
