With sadness we share the news of the death of Salvatore Racioppi, 80, on November 30, 2025. He was the father of the Rev. Jerry Racioppi, Rector of Holy Spirit, Verona, and father-in-law of Randy Johnson, diocesan staff member.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 4 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Holy Spirit, Verona (directions), followed by the funeral at 1 PM.
In addition to Jerry and Randy, Sal is survived by his wife Phyllis Racioppi; his children Kimberly Miller (spouse: Gary) and Christin Richmond (spouse: Wayne); and his granddaughters Briana Singer, Brooke Bishop, Madison Richmond and Aubrey Richmond. He was predeceased by his parents, Jerry and Elizabeth Racioppi; his sister, Catherine Racioppi; and his grandson, Tyler James Richmond.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hayden’s Heart, a charity that became important to the family when his grandson Tyler passed away in 2018, or to Holy Spirit, Verona’s Solar Panel Fund.
Father of all, we pray to you for Sal, and for all those whom we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
