With sadness we share the news of the death of Richard W. “Dick” Bauer, 93, on June 26, 2025. He was the father of Jewels Quelly, member of Diocesan Council, Lay Deputy to the 2024 General Convention, and Founding Steward of the BOOST Task Force for Neurodivergence.
In addition to Jewels and her husband Peter, Dick is survived by daughter Audrey Bauer, M.D. (Jeff Amsler); stepdaughter Carol (Fenstermaker) Mitchel (Alvin); grandchildren P. Isaac Quelly-Bersier (Lucas), Emilia “Millie” Quelly, Aspen Bolanowski, and Ray Bolanowski; brother, Herbert H. K. Bauer, Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Contributions in memory of him may be made to the Humane Colorado Animal League or Tribbles Rabbit Rescue in New Jersey.
