With sadness we share the news of the death of Gerrie Jeter on May 25, 2026.
A long-time member of St. Andrew’s, Harrington Park, Gerrie served on Diocesan Council (1986-1996), Constitution & Canons (1988-1994), the Interfaith and Ecumenical Commission (1984-1986), the Cathedral Chapter (1994), and as a supplementary Deputy to General Convention (1988 & 1991). She received the Bishop’s Cross from Bishop Spong in 1993.
It was her request that there be no memorial service.
Gerrie is survived by her husband, Hewitt, and their sons, Mark & Paul.

Father of all, we pray to you for Gerrie, and for all those whom we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
