With sadness we share the news of the death of the Rev. David C. Casto, 93, on Feb. 2, 2025.
David attended the University of Chicago Divinity School, was ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Ohio in 1958, and served churches in Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA. By 1967, he transitioned from ministry to a career in marketing and fundraising. After taking a position in Manhattan, he and his family moved to Montclair, NJ and he joined St. James, Upper Montclair, where he preached on occasion. Read his full obituary.
A funeral service will be held at St. James, Upper Montclair at 11 AM on Monday, February 17.
