With all Diocesan events moving online through December 2020, we are cancelling this scheduled workshop. The members of the Namaste Commission will be working to determine if offering our training online is feasible; however, that work will take some time and we doubt we'll be ready by September 2020. Once we have a formal program offered, we'll let you know. At this time, you are able to attend the dialogues in our sister Dioceses -- New Jersey and New York.
Candidates standing for office at the Annual Diocesan Convention must complete anti-racism training.
No person shall be eligible for election to any office at Convention, nor shall any person elected by Districts, or appointed to serve on Diocesan Council or other Diocesan Standing Committees, Commissions or Boards accede to that office, unless that person shall have first completed or arranged for the completion of anti-racism training as approved by the Bishop after consultation with the Diocesan body responsible for overseeing anti-racism dialogues. – (Diocesan Canon 2.6)
