Calvary Church in Summit and St. George's Church in Maplewood are pleased to offer a vigil service for All Saints’. This service will feature Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria in D Major, offered by the choirs of both churches, soloists, and a chamber orchestra. Additional music includes works by Jane Marshall, Maurice Duruflé, and David Hurd. Dr. Evan Cogswell, music minister at Calvary, and Megan Coiley, music minister at St. George’s, will each play and conduct.
The Rev. Chris Cole officiates the service. The event will be live-streamed on the church's YouTube account. You are invited to join either in person or online. Masks are optional for all in attendance.
A freewill offering goes to benefit the music ministries at Calvary and St. George’s.
A festive reception will follow the service, sponsored by the Metro-NJ chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
