Training for Licensed Eucharistic Ministers (Part 1 of 2)

A Eucharistic Minister is a lay person authorized to administer the Consecrated Elements at the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist. This is not a home visitor course.

Topics will include basic liturgy and the rubrics governing this vital ministry. Classes will be taught by the Rev. Pamela Bakal and the Rev. Audrey Hasselbrook.

Please note that although all are welcome to participate in this course, your rector/vicar /priest-in-charge must request licensure and the Bishop issues the license. Please speak to your rector/vicar/priest-in-charge before signing up. All participants must take Safe Church Training through their home parish in order to be licensed.

The training is in two parts: November 9 and November 14, from 7-8:30 PM. Students must attend both classes.

Enrollment is limited & closes 11/5/17. The program is offered by Districts 5 and 7, and open to all districts.
