Several years ago, my talented friend @patricio.molina.composer and I embarked on a remarkable evening, where we immersed ourselves in the captivating works of Cuban composers, complemented by Patricio's own compositions set to the heartfelt poetry of Cuban writers. As some of you may know, my roots trace back to my Cuban immigrant grandparents on my father's side. This music holds immense significance for me, as it serves as a powerful connection to my heritage, especially now that both my grandparents have passed away. Patricio and I had hoped to bring this music to more stages, but our plans were momentarily put on hold due to our move to Texas and the unexpected challenges of the pandemic. However, the time has finally arrived, and I simply cannot contain my excitement to share this exquisite music with all of you.
