With sadness we share the news of the death of Beverly J. Anderson on June 10, 2026, eight days before her 91st birthday.
Beverly served on the diocesan staff under both Bishop Rath and Bishop Spong, and as the Secretary of Convention during the late 1970s and early 1980s. She also served on the Executive Council of The Episcopal Church in the 1980s. Read her full obituary.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman in 2016. They did not have children. In her final years, she was cared for by her godson Doug Kamermayer and his wife Angie.
A private service was held on June 17, 2026.
Father of all, we pray to you for Beverly, and for all those whom we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
