Pilgrimage to the American South
June 18-22
For the culminating event of the Diocese of Newark’s 150th Anniversary, Bishop Hughes and 41 pilgrims will be on a powerful pilgrimage through Alabama, retracing the footsteps of history and the brave souls who fought for civil rights.

Silence is not neutral: A call to Christian witness
Addressing the current conflict around immigration, Bishop Hughes reminds us that silence can be misinterpreted as agreement, and encourages Christians to engage in meaningful, compassionate conversations grounded in the teachings of Jesus – even across deep differences. (Time: 6:18.)
