The following churches in the Diocese of Newark have reported that they have power and Wi-Fi and are open to members of the community who wish to recharge and reconnect, either spiritually or electronically (alphabetical by town):

  • St. Paul's in Chatham (200 Main Street; 973-635-8085)

  • Church of the Good Shepherd in Fort Lee (1576 Palisade Avenue; 201-461-7260)
    12 - 6 p.m. every day until power comes back
  • St. James' in Hackettstown (214 Washington Street at the corner of Moore Street; 908-852-3968)
    Also showers! Use the Moore Street entrance for ease of access.
