Join Bishop Beckwith in engaging the world with ashes through "Ashes to Go"

Ashes to Go

Last year for the first time, Bishop Mark Beckwith and clergy and lay people from at least 20 congregations in the Diocese of Newark brought a quiet moment of religious observance to busy commuters by taking "Ashes to Go" to train stations, bus stations and other commuter points throughout northern New Jersey, receiving widespread coverage from The Star-Ledger and other news media.

This year on Ash Wednesday, February 13,  Bishop Beckwith will be outside Newark Penn Station from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., and the Rev. Canon Gregory A. Jacobs will be outside Broad Street Station in Newark from 7 to 8 a.m., available to commuters seeking imposition of ashes. Will you join him by taking "Ashes to Go" to your local train or bus station, or another public location in your community?
