With sadness we report the death of Dorothy Oldham, mother of Mary Sunden and mother-in-law of Larry Sunden. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 9 at the age of 83.
In addition to Mary and Larry, she is survived by her children Martha, Jonathan and David Oldham.
Dorothy faithfully served Harvey Cedars Bible Conference for many years and will be greatly missed by all of those touched by her life, her music, and her love of others. A viewing will be held at Maxwell's Funeral Home 573 Mill Creek Rd Manahawkin, NJ 08050 on Saturday, July 13 from 6-9 p.m. A memorial service will be in the Harvey Cedars Bible Conference chapel on Sunday, July 14. A viewing will be held at 1:30 p.m. and the service will begin at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to a memorial fund at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference.
Mary Sunden is the Executive Director of Christ Church CDC and has served the Diocese in many capacities, including as member of the boards of Hillsdale House and Episcopal Community Development Corporation, Diocesan Council and many task forces and committees. Larry is currently serving on the Commission on Ministry.
